The club who received the most money from transfers was Barcelona with 134m euros, closely followed by Real Madrid with 133m euros and then Sevilla with 89m euros. As things currently stand, it seems like this summer could be another huge transfer window in which astronomical amounts of money will change hands. It seems unfeasible to predict that this season's earnings will top those of last years, but nothing is impossible in the world of football.
Real Madrid expect to bring in between 300 and 340 million euros in player sales and, although it may seem an optimistic prediction, it is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. They hope to get 70m euros for Gareth Bale, between 65 and 70m euros for James Rodriguez, 60m euros for Isco, roughly 20-25m euros for Lucas Vazquez, 25m euros for Mateo Kovacic, 20m euros for Mariano Diaz, between 15 and 20m euros for Theo Hernandez, 10-15m euros for Raul de Tomas and Keylor Navas, 10m euros for Jesus Vallejo and finally 5m euros for Borja Mayoral. Not all of those will end up leaving but the ones who will should ensure that they bring in at least 300 million euros. Barcelona will also be hoping to receive a lot of money from departures this summer. Jasper Cillessen is said to be on his way out of the club for 30m euros, Nelson Semedo for 40m euros, Philippe Coutinho for 100m euros, Malcom for between 30 and 50m euros, Marc Cucurella for 10m euros, Andre Gomes is expected to bring in between 25 and 30m euros, and Denis Suarez may be sold for 15m euros. Samuel Umtiti could leave for 50m euros, along with Ivan Rakitic for 40m euros, Ousmane Dembele for 100m euros, and Rafinha Alcantara for a low price. Who will actually leave remains to be seen but Barcelona hope to receive at least 250m euros. Atletico Madrid are already allowing players to leave, not least Lucas Hernandez who left for 80m euros, while Antoine Griezmann who will leave for his reduced release clause of 120m euros on July 1. Rodri Hernandez could also be on his way out of the club if someone decides they wish to pay his 70m euro release clause, alongside Angel Correa for 25-30m euros. Los Rojiblancos could end the summer 270m euros richer. If we take a closer look at Sevilla and Real Betis, the latter are looking to offload Victor Camarasa, Ryad Boudebouz, Takashi Inui and five more players. However, in doing so, they will not recoup enough money to bring in all of their summer targets, which means they may be forced to part ways with Giovani Lo Celso or Junior Firpo to generate some cash. Paris Saint-Germain would take 20 per cent of whatever Lo Celso was sold for, so they would not want to let him go for any less than 80m euros. With that in mind, the club hope to make around 80m euros this summer in player sales. In the red side of the city, it seems highly unlikely that Sevilla will reach the dizzy heights of last season's 89m euros in sales. However, they are a selling club, which means that they will no doubt be letting some players go. Wissam Ben Yedder and Pablo Sarabia may be two of the players to depart this summer, alongside Simon Kjaer, Nolito and Franco Vazquez. If so, they may finish the summer 80m euros better off. Valencia are another team who could make big earnings from player sales this summer. Rodrigo Moreno is currently valued at 70m euros, however it is unlikely that they will manage to get that much for him. He will more than likely leave for around 50m euros. Jeison Murillo, Ruben Vezo, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Francis Coquelin and Uros Racic are the other players who could potentially leave Los Che this summer, which would give them earnings of between 60 and 80m euros. Just by taking a look at the possible departures from the top six teams in LaLiga Santander

, it is easy to see how plausible it is that this summer transfer market surpasses that of last season in terms of earnings.

There is still a long way to go in the window, however, as only time will tell how things will pan out.Zinedine Zidane may be left to rue his inactivity during the January market after opting to make no signings, as a total 52 players arrived in LaLiga during the month-long transfer window.

The French tactician insisted on summer signings instead, and it's a move that could prove to be costly.
