This product is intended to be a fun way to get students to write with a summer theme in mind - whether it be an end of the year writing activity or an over the summer activity. With three options (task cards, lists, and bingo-style), you have multiple ways to use the activities to get students to write. Whether it be as a game to see who can get a Bingo! first, or an enjoyable way to find a different writing prompt, this product is intended to be used in any engaging way you can think of!
The prompts picked are intended to align with second grade writing standards, focusing on narrative, opinion, and informative/expository writing. Both informative and expository are included in this product, as they are under the same category but not every classroom uses both terms to describe this writing style.
