Die Boyband 5 Seconds of Summer kommt aus dem australischen Sydney. Im Jahr 2011 begann die Karriere der Highschool kids mit Cover Songs im Internet, heute verkaufen sie weltweit ihre Alben.
Die drei Mitglieder der Band Luke Robert Hemmings, Michael Gorden Clifford und Calum Thomas Hood haben ihre Karriere mit Liedern von Justin Bieber und Chris Brown begonnen, die sich schlicht und einfach nachgesungen und bei YouTube hochgeladen haben. Den internationalen Durchbruch schaffte 5 Seconds of Summer dann durch die prominente Unterstützung der Band One Direction, die einen Link zu ihrem Lied Gotta Get Out auf Twitter veröffentlichte. One Direction bekannte sich als absoluter Fan der Band und förderte die Bekanntheit ihrer Kollegen.

Okay, you caught us, this is a rock ballad. But if anything, that just makes this song even more of a force to be reckoned with. ‘Wrapped Around Your Finger’ is not only a classic 5SOS song but one we will continue to belt at the top of our lungs until we’re old and gray. Also, what’s up with them throwing rocks at windows? Seriously, I think we need to consider an intervention.
Where do we even begin with ‘Best Years’… This song has had us in a chokehold since we first sobbed to it.
