Fruit mojitos are the *fancy* version of this classic cocktail. You can use virtually any fruit you want, and the mojito recipe takes less than 5 minutes to throw together. It’s a summery cocktail you’ll love!
I was never really known for my cocktails. Unless of course you mean the time in college when I made a jungle juice so strong that party-goers threw it out the apartment window.

But fortunately, I have friends who teach me to make cocktails (and who critically taste my creations so I know if they’re good or not). This fruit mojitos recipe is one of them.

But these aren’t just any mojitos. These are fruit mojitos! Which look like the sophisticated adult version of mojitos, while taking just 0.01% more time. You can use just about any fresh fruit you have on hand, from your favorite types of tropical fruits (like mango and pineapple and passion fruit) to classic berry flavors (like strawberry or blueberry).
Club soda is a versatile carbonated water used as a mixer or standalone drink, while tonic water is carbonated water with quinine and is primarily used as a bitter mixer in cocktails. Mineral water, sourced from natural springs, is known for its light, clean taste and is enjoyed as a standalone beverage.
Step 1: Muddle We muddle together the mint leaves, sugar, and fruit to release the oils in the mint and break up the fruit into a mash.

Use a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon to gently press and twist the ingredients in the glass, being careful not to crush the mint leaves too harshly.
Your choice of fruit is totally up to you! My personal favorite is strawberry, which I love for it’s classic flavor and bright red appearance.
Step 2: Assemble After muddling, it’s time to assemble the fruit mojito! Add crushed ice to the glass, ensuring it fills all the way up.

Next, pour in the shot of white rum then finish by adding the club soda to fill the glass (you may not need all of the club soda).
Step 3: Serve Give the cocktail a gentle stir to combine all the ingredients. Garnish the glass with lime wedges, fresh mint leaves, and fruit. Enjoy!
Experiment with different fruits: One of the highlights of this recipe is its adaptability to various fruits. Feel free to mix and match different fruits to create unique flavor combinations! Most types of berries work well here, as well as tropical fruits!

Adjust sweetness: The amount of sugar used in the recipe can be adjusted according to personal preference and the natural sweetness of the fruit. If using very ripe or sweet fruits, you may want to reduce the amount of sugar or omit it altogether. Taste the mixture after muddling and adjust the sweetness as needed by adding more sugar or even a splash of simple syrup if desired.
Make it a mocktail: If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, you can easily transform this recipe into a refreshing mocktail. Simply omit the white rum and increase the amount of club soda or substitute it with a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage. The fruit flavors and the herbal freshness will still shine through, making it a delightful alcohol-free option.
Serve immediately: Fruit mojitos are best enjoyed fresh and chilled. Once assembled, serve the cocktails immediately to prevent the ice from melting excessively and diluting the flavors. The effervescence of the club soda is also at its peak when served promptly.

There is no summer without watermelon. For this Fruit, Mojito makes sure you blend well the watermelon and use a mesh strainer when pouring it into glasses. In addition, I don’t add extra sugar to this one, as the watermelon is sweet enough.
One of my favorite cocktails, roasting the blackberries helps get all their juice. The blackberries are roasted in lemon juice and sugar, so I usually don’t add more sugar to the cocktail.
