Summer School Kiel

Summer School Kiel

Sustainability affects all areas of our daily life and so it affects the pharmaceutical sciences. After the 1st Summer School 2022 in Freiburg/Germany described the problems in Sustainable Pharmacy from different perspectives and disciplines, we want to ask at the 2nd Summer School 2023 in Kiel What can we do?. The aim of this summer school is to bring scientists with environmental interests together with speakers from different disciplines and nations that will describe and discuss the topic Sustainable Pharmacy out of their perspectives and present some possible solutions.

We want to provide a community platform for scientists that are interested in sustainable pharmacy. We want to show the existing problems from different perspectives as well as to present possible solutions. Furthermore, it is our aim to give you a deeper knowledge and the ability to change your perspective to understand the different actors in the field of pharmacy. Last but not least, we want to grow our international community to be part of the change.

Summer

The summer school will start on Monday the 25th September 2023 at 9:00 am and will end on Thursday the 28th September 2023 at 2 pm. It will be held in English and take place in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel. Every day will start with talks from different speakers and will end with a workshop or discussion. Afterwards, there are optional activities to get to know each other better and to have the possibility to talk about the day. There´s a preliminary program in the table below, but smaller changes can still take place. The exact times of the lectures will be published close to the start of the Summer School.

If you have questions regarding the posters, please contact us via sustainability@.

Poster authors submit abstracts (200 words) including the essence of the planned presentation. The abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and a decision is communicated to the authors. Each poster presenter should print their poster and bring it to the Summer School (no poster printing service available at the Summer School). St Summer School Of The Clinical Research Unit 5010 Catch All

Sustainability affects all areas of our daily life and so it affects the pharmaceutical sciences. There exist a lot of problems caused by pharmaceuticals that enter the environment and harm all parts of ecosystems. Albert Schweitzer once said I am life, which desires life, and wishes for life, in the middle of life. Every living thing has the right of living in an environment that is functional and it is our duty as humankind to take care of our environment as it is the basis of our life. There are a lot of challenges towards a sustainable pharmacy that need to be faced and with this 2nd summer school we want to give you some tools to do so.Programs and prices, tuition fees in Louisenlund Summer Camp (Summer School in Germany) Accommodation, meals, prices Activities Louisenlund Summer Camp (Summer School in Germany) Advantages Facilities and equipment at Louisenlund Summer Camp (Summer School in Germany) Admission dates and extra charges
